Who we are
The data controller is AURUM CODES S.R.L., IDNO 1025600047360, based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova (“AurumCodes”, “we”). We build websites, online stores, mobile apps and CRM systems.

What data we collect
We only collect the data we need to reply to you and to keep the site working:
- Contact form: your name, phone or email and the message you send, plus the page you sent the request from.
- Correspondence: what you write to us by email or WhatsApp or tell us by phone when you contact us directly.
- Technical data: to protect against spam we use an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address — we don’t store the IP address itself.
- Your cookie choice: which categories you accepted and when, without your IP address.
- Analytics: only if you agree to analytics cookies — anonymised data about the pages you visit.
We don’t create user accounts on the site and don’t collect payment data.
Why we use your data and on what basis
- To reply to you and prepare a quote — at your request, before a contract.
- To perform the contract if you become a client.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse — our legitimate interest.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it — only with your consent.
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting.
We don’t make automated decisions based on your data and we don’t sell it to anyone.
How long we keep data
- Contact form requests — up to 12 months, then they are deleted automatically.
- Your cookie choice — 6 months in your browser; the record of the choice — up to 24 months.
- Contract and invoice data — as long as accounting law requires.
- Correspondence — as long as it’s needed for the project or until you ask us to delete it.
Who we share data with
Your data is seen only by the AurumCodes team members working on your request. It may be processed on our behalf only by providers the site can’t work without:
- the website hosting provider and the email service through which we receive requests;
- Cloudflare — for the form’s anti-spam check, when it is enabled;
- Google — for statistics (Google Analytics), only if you accepted analytics cookies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova. In those cases we only work with providers that offer adequate protection safeguards.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies for the site to work. The other categories — functional, analytics, marketing and external media — are turned on only with your consent.

Your rights
Under the personal data protection laws of the Republic of Moldova and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right:
- to know what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- to have inaccurate data corrected;
- to have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- to receive your data in a portable format;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing done before.
Write to us at info@aurumcodes.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova.
How we protect data
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form requests are accessible only to the team, in the protected admin dashboard, and the data is deleted automatically after the retention period.

When we change this policy, we update the date above. If the changes are significant, we’ll ask for your cookie consent again.
